Rubbing alcohol will remove many kinds of paint.

Thanks!!! I used the non-Acetone nail polish remover and it went away! You can see pictures of her in my makeover album.

Another solution is the Mr Clean Magic Eraser... works on a ton of tough stains!

    Question

Well, I have "Addy" back now after restringing at a nearby doll hospital. I guess I didn't really look her over terribly well before (kept her in that dress) and didn't notice little white paint marks on her arms and legs. At least it LOOKS like paint.

Anyways I have one doll cleaning webpage, but it doesn't say anything about removing paint. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Is the white paint maybe from having the dolls sit on whicker furniture?? The same thing happened with mine... most frustrating. I worked on slowly chiping the paint off, but maybe you could also try some mild nail polish remover too (that wouldn't be too harsh on the doll's skin, unlike paint thinner).

Good luck & be sure to post what works for you!!

I've tried non-acetone nail polish remover with success.
